Advanced Mobile Settings
Customise your mobile experience depending on how you're going to be working
To access mobile settings, click on the 3 lined menu button in the top, left corner.
The two types of settings that will optimise your experience are "Advanced Settings" and "Sync Settings" but the other types will be covered
Sync Settings
- THIN CLIENT MODE is the most important setting. It will be off by default and should remain off if you will be working on site without internet access. It will pre-download all data to your device as part of the sync but will increase sync times.

-
Organisation Sync Toggle - Each organisation you are connected to will have its own toggle. Turn it off if you are done with that organisation and will not need access to the data again. This will exclude the organisation from future syncs and decrease sync time and data stored on your device.
- Project Sync Toggle - If an organisation sync toggle is turned on, a toggle for each project within that organisation will become available. This allows for the syncing of specific information regarding the project being worked on.
- Enable All - Some organisations have many projects. The Enable All button allows users to turn on the sync for all of them at once.
Advanced Settings
- Surveyors, turn this option on to speed up how quickly you work on site.
- Most users can leave this option off unless working on an installation with a very large number of detail fields.
- Surveyors, turn this option on so that each new sign created remembers the type of sign you were last working on.
- Most users can leave this option off. Only if the artwork previewed doesn't match the messaging of the actual sign would this option be turned on.
- Installers may want to turn on this setting if they will be referring to previous photos. Please note that this will significantly increase the amount of synced data and will lengthen sync times.
Advanced Photo Settings
In the SignAgent mobile app, you can easily change the quality of the photos taken.
To do so:
- Start to take a photo when viewing or creating a sign
- Once the camera is open select the camera options by navigating to the gear icon to the left of the shutter button
- From there you can select the photo quality that you need for your project
Please note: Higher quality photos will create larger file sizes. Larger file sizes can affect sync times and will consume more device storage.
Image resolution is dependant on the image quality supported by your device.
