Outlined Artwork Exports Aren't Correct
Having issues with artwork downloaded with outlines not displaying correctly? This article explains the workaround.
An update made to Chrome's PDF outlining process is not compatible with SignAgent's artwork rendering system and can cause artwork with outlined artwork to:
- Lose tracking information
- Align incorrectly
- Change font
- Not include reference information
The SignAgent team is working to resolve this problem. Unfortunately we don't have a timeline available yet. Accommodating this update requires a fundamental change in the order and process our artwork rendering system uses. These changes must be made without any unexpected impacts to the millions of signs already rendered in the system.
Temporary Solution
- Download artwork as un-outlined SVGs which will render correctly
- Use this outlining script (linked) through Illustrator to turn all SVGs into outlined PDFs.
